We are looking for an Ad-Hoc Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer to assist in fluid flow analysis, thermal simulations, and aerodynamics studies. This role is ideal for students and fresh graduates with a strong background in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and numerical simulations. You will work on analyzing fluid behavior in various engineering applications, optimizing designs, and contributing to research and development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CFD simulations using software such as ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, COMSOL, or Star-CCM+.
- Develop, modify, and validate CFD models to analyze fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and aerodynamics.
- Process and analyze simulation results to provide insights and recommendations for design improvements.
- Optimize mesh generation and solver settings for accurate and efficient simulations.
- Interpret engineering requirements and translate them into CFD simulation models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CFD findings into product development.
- Document simulation methodologies, assumptions, and results in technical reports.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic experience or knowledge of CFD software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, Star-CCM+, COMSOL).
- Understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and turbulence modeling.
- Familiarity with numerical methods and discretization techniques (e.g., Finite Volume Method, Finite Element Method).
- Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or C++ for automation and post-processing are a plus.
