Key Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Commissioning, troubleshooting and aftermarket support of Weir products supplied into the Nickel Customers
- Regular detailed measurement of TOC “Total Ownership Costs”, whereby reporting of current TOC, improvement and savings is a routine activity.
- Trial proposals to be presented based on a commercially justifiable business case to improve the customer’s TOC.
- Provide accurate quarterly budgeting and forecasting, with new business development delivering growth year on year.
- Develop and achieve growth and aftermarket retention strategies that cascade down into site specific objectives customized to individual customers’ needs.
- Report weekly on past and planned activities and provide details of significant market issues (customer and competitor).
- Register customer complaints within 24 hours and initiate Corrective Action Reports (CAR). Follow up root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are implement for customer quality issues.
- Support Weir Integrated Solution, product and service specialists through joint sales calls.
- Train key Customer personnel in the application and operation of Weir equipment.
- Negotiate pricing reviews and supervise supply contract negotiation such as FPA’s.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in a sales role within the minerals processing industry or similar, managing multiple products and services.
- Mandarin Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking is essential for engaging with Mandarin-speaking partners and handling multilingual documentation. English: Strong written and spoken communication skills are required for internal reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic planning. Bahasa Indonesia: Preferred for seamless interaction with local teams, vendors, and community stakeholders in Tangerang.
- Open to residing in Morowali or frequently traveling to Morowali as needed
