Position Overview:

The International Channel Sales Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding Motadata’s channel partner network to drive revenue growth, support in enhancing brand value and market penetration across Indonesia markets. This role involves identifying potential channel partners, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships to ensure mutual success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in international (Indonesia) sales and channel management, strong business acumen, excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Role & Responsibility:

The list of role and responsibilities of the Channel Sales Manager are as follows (please note this is general indication of expectations, and not an exhaustive list of duties):

  • Channel Partner Development: Proactively Identify and recruit new channel partners to expand market presence. Will also be responsible for strengthening, developing and executing strategies to onboard and train new partners.
  • Relationship Management: Be a champ at maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing channel partners. Proactively conduct regular meetings and business reviews to ensure partner success and satisfaction.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets through channel partners. Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed. Sales goals will be assigned to you on an annual basis, which will be further then divided into quarterly basis, you must give your best efforts to achieve / overachieve those goals. Goal achievement is one of the important and major criteria in determining your success in the mentioned role.
  • Market Expansion: Being one of the top responsibilities - research and identify new market opportunities and trends. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop localized strategies for different regions.

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and manage contracts with channel partners, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial, while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Training and Support: Take a lead in providing training and support to channel partners on products, sales techniques, and market strategies. Also responsible for, developing and delivering training materials and programs.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and partner activities. Use data to make informed decisions and optimize channel strategies. Above is a summary of expected role and responsibility and must not be considered as an exhaustive list of duties.

Minimum Qualifications: Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.
  • Leadership: Capability to lead and motivate partners to achieve common goals.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to manage the negotiations in favour of the organization or navigating negotiations in a manner to arrive at a win-win situation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in international sales and channel management.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share through channel partners.
  • Strong understanding of international markets and cultural nuances.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
