A Hotel Director of Sales and Marketing leads and executes strategies to drive revenue for a hotel, focusing on sales targets, marketing campaigns, branding, and customer relations to maximize occupancy and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies, set sales targets, and identify opportunities for revenue growth and market expansion.
- Lead sales initiatives, manage the sales team, and monitor performance to ensure sales targets are met.
- Oversee the hotel's brand identity, ensure consistency in messaging, and execute traditional and digital marketing campaign
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, media outlets, and industry partners.
- Monitor market trends, analyze competitor activities, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Work to maximize room occupancy and optimize business opportunities, especially for conferences and banquets.
- Implement strategies to build loyalty, gather feedback, and drive repeat business through personalized initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
- 3+ years' of senior sales experience / proven success in a similar role with 4* or 5* Hotel environment.
- Demonstrable success in driving revenue growth, developing sales strategies, and managing sales teams is highly valued
- Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a sales team.
- Strong analytical skills for forecasting and managing budgets, along with financial management expertise.
- Self-motivation, a high attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively are also importan.
