Description
- Prepare preventive maintenance schedule.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all electrical panels, motors, electrical appliances, etc.
- Distribute the work to subordinates according to capabilities to get the best results.
- Ensure that the works done by subordinates are according to the specified standard.
- Ensure that all related tools are in safe place and in good working condition.
- Follow the preventive maintenance chart strictly and maintain records for future reference.
- Coordinate with other departments counterparts and ensure their satisfaction on quality and progress and create healthy inter-department relationships.
- Create opportunities for engineering Colleagues to multitask and increase their skills ans knowledge.
- Maintain all kitchen and laundry equipment in good working order.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen and Laundry equipment.
- Maintain the performance of pumps and motors.
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and colleagues’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment.
- Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
- Maintaining professional and friendly communications as the first point of call for general external enquiries and correspondence.
- Coordinating all operating systems including ensuring that telephones, computers, printers, photocopiers, recycling, etc are kept in good working order, including maintaining supplies for operating systems and arranging technical support when required.
- Arranging meetings and arranging agenda items.
- Performs other tasks or projects as assigned by General Manager, Director of Engineering and /or assistant Director of Engineering.
- Accomplishes a set of administrative duties such as leading and attending meeting, writing reports and memos and other specific duties related to the job function.
