About the Role
We’re seeking a strategic, data-driven Growth & Customer Acquisition Lead to own end-to-end lead generation, conversion, and sales workflows at Champ Code Academy. You’ll manage our marketing, sales, and customer support teams, collaborate with tutors on new offerings, and partner with tech to refine our backend systems—driving high-volume, high-quality trial sign-ups and post-trial conversions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Marketing Management
- Oversee paid & organic campaigns (Facebook, Google, partnerships) to deliver a continuous pipeline of qualified leads.
- Set lead-volume and cost-per-lead targets; run creative tests to improve performance.
- Analyze channel performance and reallocate budget to maximize ROI.
2. Messaging & Conversion Optimization
- Design and A/B test multi-step messaging workflows (email, SMS, WhatsApp, in-app) for trial booking and post-trial follow-up.
- Implement best practices in copy, sequencing, and personalization to boost conversion at each funnel stage.
- Incorporate calls, chat outreach, and value-add touchpoints to increase trial attendance and enrollments.
3. Sales & Customer Support Leadership
- Manage sales and support reps across phone, chat, and email.
- Develop playbooks and training to ensure consultative outreach that closes enrollments.
- Monitor KPIs (dials, contacts, show-rates, close-rates) and coach the team to hit targets.
4. Data Tracking & Continuous Improvement
- Define and track metrics (lead-to-trial, trial-to-paid, LTV, CAC).
- Build dashboards (via Airtable, Supabase, BI tools) to surface insights and identify bottlenecks.
- Lead regular retrospectives to iterate on campaigns, scripts, and processes.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Tutor Management to launch new courses, special events, and incentives.
- Work with Tech to refine backend data models, automate workflows, and ensure accurate tracking.
- Coordinate with Finance on forecasting, budgeting, and pricing strategy.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in growth marketing, customer acquisition, or sales ops—ideally in EdTech or subscription services.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and scale cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, support).
- Analytical Skills: Hands-on with analytics tools (GA, Facebook Ads Manager, SQL, Airtable/Supabase, BI platforms).
- Conversion Expertise: Deep understanding of funnel optimization, A/B testing, and messaging workflows.
- Communication: Excellent written/verbal skills; able to train and inspire teams.
