Job Description: HoReCa Sales Executive (Jakarta)Position Overview
The HoReCa Sales Executive is responsible for driving B2B sales of macarons, cakes, and pastries to hotels, restaurants, cafés, catering companies, and airlines in Jakarta. This role combines relationship management, business development, and product knowledge to grow the company’s presence in the premium pastry segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new HoReCa clients (5-star hotels, boutique hotels, restaurants, cafés, catering companies).
- Develop strategies to penetrate high-potential accounts.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Account Management
- Build strong relationships with chefs, F&B managers, purchasing managers, and GMs.
- Maintain regular visits and communication to ensure client satisfaction.
- Manage contract renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Product Presentation & Promotion
- Conduct tastings and presentations with chefs and procurement teams.
- Introduce new seasonal products, festive collections, and limited editions.
- Provide product training to client staff (e.g., banquet, service team).
- Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends in Jakarta.
- Gather feedback from clients to improve product offerings and service.
- Operations & Coordination
- Work closely with production, logistics, and customer service to ensure smooth delivery and consistent product quality.
- Coordinate bulk orders for banquets, weddings, and hotel events.
- Manage credit control (payments and invoices follow-up).
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience in HoReCa, preferably with hotels or premium F&B suppliers.
- Strong network with hotel purchasing departments, chefs, and F&B directors in Jakarta.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Passion for food, pastries, and hospitality.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia & English.
KPIs
- Monthly & quarterly sales revenue achieved.
- Number of new hotel/restaurant accounts acquired.
- Retention & growth of existing key accounts.
- Successful execution of tastings, presentations, and events.
Compensation
- Base salary (market competitive for Jakarta HoReCa sales).
- Sales incentives/commissions based on revenue and new accounts.
- Allowances (transport, mobile, client entertainment).
