Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in West Jakarta, Indonesia. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to motivate and manage a team of housekeeping staff.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards
- Train, coach, and mentor housekeeping staff to improve their skills and efficiency
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and productivity
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures for cleaning supplies and equipment
- Address guest concerns and requests promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
- Enforce safety and sanitation standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies
- Assist in developing and implementing new cleaning procedures and techniques
- Maintain accurate records of room status, maintenance issues, and inventory levels
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in hospitality management preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
- Proficiency in inventory management and budget control
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to housekeeping operations
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in the hospitality industry
- Customer service-oriented with a professional and courteous demeanor
- Ability to speak English fluently; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus
