The Investment Wealth Manager role offers a unique opportunity to guide clients in building and managing their wealth, playing a key part in our mission to provide personalized and strategic financial solutions. This position is vital in developing tailored investment strategies, optimizing portfolios, and fostering long-term client relationships based on trust and performance. The successful candidate will enhance their expertise in market analysis, asset allocation, and financial planning, gaining firsthand experience in managing diverse investment portfolios. Position Responsibilities:
- The role will respond to immediate opportunities but will also play a back up role in assisting with vacancies and vacations:
- Pre-qualification of potential customers: on-line inquiries Territory reporting
- Assign pre-qualified leads to regional sales teams
- Follow up on discharges
- Identify opportunities and provide input to development of future inside sales team
- Coordinate and manage sales collateral to national sales teams
- Sales Support Coordination – this role is a key resource for field management. The effective and timely resolution of issues and support of field efforts in the pursuit of top-line growth is another key responsibility of this role. The following is an example of sales support functions required:
• Event Calendar development and maintenance
• Medium to large event coordination for the field, including advisor education and distribution channel events (Note: this role will also support all medium to large event management )
• Presentation development and coordination of presentations and materials, in conjunction with Marketing
• New hire on boarding, including support for home office set up and system access
• Centralized coordination of territory management
• Vetting and coordination of requests for regional sponsorships and promotions
• Problem resolution for field management
• Respond to routine broker inquiries
• Responsible for small scale projects
• Work area budget reporting
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years progressive business experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Positive attitude and strong desire to achieve
- Excellent understanding of the Manulife Financial distribution channels and structures
- Effective communication, influencing and conflict management skills
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and exercise judgment in a changing environment
- Effective problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Results oriented
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment independently and as part of a team
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Industry-related education is an asset
