Job Overview
The Legal Officer ensures the organization complies with all legal regulations and minimizes risk exposure. They provide expert legal advice, draft and review contracts, handle legal disputes, and oversee compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Legal Advisory: Provide sound legal advice to management and various departments to support business operations.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents to protect the organization’s interests.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure the organization adheres to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and provide strategies to mitigate them.
- Dispute Resolution: Manage and oversee legal disputes, litigation, and settlements.
- Corporate Governance: Support board meetings, maintain corporate records, and ensure compliance with governance practices.
- Policy Development: Assist in developing and updating organizational policies to reflect current legal requirements.
- Liaison Role: Work closely with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities when required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Experience: 1 (one) year of relevant experience in a legal role, preferably in corporate or regulatory environments. But fresh graduates are welcome
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, and compliance frameworks.

- Understand how to use DocuSign
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
