Role Description:
Translation and Communication:
- Translate documents from Bahasa to Mandarin and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
- Facilitate clear and efficient communication between management, local teams, and vendors, both verbally and in writing.
- Provide real-time translation support during meetings and field activities, ensuring all parties understand key points.
Administrative Support:
- Perform executive assistant functions, including preparing meeting minutes, scheduling, itinerary arrangements, and other assigned tasks.
- Review, translate, and archive contract documents in Bahasa, English, and Mandarin.
General Responsibilities:
- Accompany foreign workers during meetings and work-related activities, providing support as needed.
- Utilize computer applications (MS Word and Excel) to support daily tasks.
- Analyze issues, propose solutions, and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mandarin Language or a related field.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal, is essential.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a translator, interpreter, or executive assistant.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to bridge language and cultural gaps effectively.
- Proven experience facilitating communication between expatriates and local teams or vendors.
- High level of proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel); familiarity with other office productivity tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have a HSK - 5 Certification is a strong plus.
