Responsibilities :
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of cakes, pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
- Follow recipes and hotel standards for consistency and quality.
- Work under the guidance of the Pastry Chef
- Provide support during busy service hours (breakfast, afternoon tea, events, etc.).
- Keep the pastry kitchen clean and organized.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly.
- Assist with receiving and storing pastry ingredients.
- Check freshness and rotate stock (FIFO method).
- Follow hygiene and sanitation regulations (HACCP standards).
- Report any issues with ingredients, equipment, or safety.
Requirments :
- Diploma or certificate in baking/pastry arts is a plus.
- Experience in pastry or bakery (6 months to 1 year preferred).
- Hotel or fine dining experience is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and baking methods.
- Punctual, disciplined, and eager to learn.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Attention to detail and passion for pastry.
- Willing to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Able to join immediately
