Our customer, one of the largest logistics companies in Indonesia, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. This role requires strong technical expertise in payroll management and the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin for business purposes.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement.
- Calculate and administer payroll components including BPJS Kesehatan, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, income tax (PPh 21), allowances, overtime, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain and update payroll records and employee data with confidentiality and accuracy.
- Handle payroll-related queries from employees and provide clear resolutions.
- Prepare regular payroll reports for management and external audits.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties on payroll and tax-related matters.
- Communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders to support business operations.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within a large-scale or multinational company.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian payroll regulations, including BPJS and PPh 21 taxation.
- Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Business-level proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is a must.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
