Position Summary:
Southeast Asian Quiksilver Merchandiser overseeing the total product seasonal process & Indonesian consignment planning & buyer function. Driving seasonal and yearly sales and gross margin targets across all Southeast Asia (SEA) accounts and channels, including retail consignment operations in Indonesia. This role leads assortment planning, pricing management, inventory control, and cross-functional coordination to ensure product availability aligns with market demands and business goals.
Day to Day Activity as Product Merchandiser Supervisor - Billabong
Sales & Margin Achievement
- Drive seasonal and annual sales and gross margin targets across SEA accounts and channels.
- Select appropriate product ranges tailored to each market to ensure strong sell-in and sell-through performance.
- Manage product architecture to exceed margin benchmarks per account and channel.
Retail Consignment Management (Indonesia)
- Oversee OTB planning, product selection, budgeting, and allocation for Indonesian consignment stores.
- Monitor product movement and control inventory levels, aiming for optimal stock cover per store.
- Identify SMU and replenishment opportunities and propose in-season promotions and clearance strategies.
Pricing & Product Information Management
- Maintain and control SEA line lists, including FOB, COGS, RRP, forecasts, and trading terms.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date pricing is reflected in SAP across all channels.
Product Delivery & Supply Chain Coordination
- Plan and coordinate weekly/monthly product deliveries by channel.
- Collaborate with product and supply chain teams to ensure timely product arrival (<5% delay benchmark).
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, manage, and support the performance and growth of the merchandising team.
- Foster a collaborative environment with internal and external stakeholders.
Process Management & Reporting
- Oversee cross-departmental adherence to the core process calendar and seasonal timelines.
- Analyze past sales patterns, monitor weekly reports, and provide strategic input on store segmentation and trends.
Visual Merchandising Support
Assist in planning store layouts in coordination with visual merchandisers to highlight key lines.
Required Education, Experience, and Skill:
Education: Candidates possess a D3/D4/S1 educational background
Experience: minimum 3 year of experience in a related position
Skill necessary:
- Strong understanding of regional market demands and digital commerce fundamentals.
- Proficiency in forecasting, planning, and budget management.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Strong cross-functional coordination and communication abilities.
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced retail or wholesale environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Accpac, PLM).
