How you create impact
- Terminal Operations: Manage vessel assurance, berthing operations, and ensure safe and efficient terminal handling.
- Project Cargo Oversight: Supervise project vessel and barge operations, enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols and timelines.
- Vessel Positioning & Mooring: Ensure precise vessel positioning using expert knowledge of mooring guidelines and standards.
- Marine Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response strategies, including oil spill control plans.
- Regulatory Compliance: Uphold standards in accordance with STCW, ISM Code, and international maritime regulations.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the main marine liaison for clients, ensuring their requirements and safety expectations are met.
What we would like you to bring
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, or equivalent.
- Mandatory: Class 1 Master Certificate of Competence (Unlimited).
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in marine operations in the oil & gas industry.
- Experience in LNG terminal project operations or marine construction is a plus.
Certifications (Preferred):
- OPITO BOSIET
- K3 MIGAS Supervisor-Level Certificate (issued by PPSDM MIGAS)
Skills & Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of STCW, ISM, and international marine regulations.
- Strong grasp of vessel vetting, mooring practices, and emergency preparedness.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is an added advantage.
- Able and willing to travel to project sites as required.
