JOB DESCRIPTION:

YOUR ROLE AS A:

Internal Audit Senior Executive within the Internal Audit function contributes to the development and execution of risk-based audit plans, conducts audits and reviews of internal controls and processes, and provides recommendations for improvement to governance, risk management, and operational efficiency. The Senior Executive will work independently and as part of a team, contributing to the overall assurance provided by the Internal Audit department.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

  • Responsible for establishing the Audit Work Program and ensuring that the audit is conducted as per the Audit Work Program across all the AOCs;

  • To do audit preparation before the commencement of the Audit, i.e., prepare the Audit Notification, Audit Planning Memorandum, document request list, etc.

  • To lead the Audit Team and ensure the Audit is meeting the objectives and completion of the assignment within the allocated resources;

  • To compile and ensure the accuracy of facts and completeness of the Audit Report and Audit working paper;

  • Assist the Corporate/Station/IT Audit Manager in all matters of internal audit, including planning the scope and procedures for audit engagements;

  • To execute any cross-functional assignment within the Group Internal Audit department; and

  • To carry out any tasks and work assigned by the Audit Manager and above, as and when needed

  • Perform preliminary review, including the internal control evaluation, with guidance from the Audit Manager.

  • Perform Audit assignment in accordance with the professional standards, within the scope and resource allocation limits of the Audit assignment.

  • Write the draft observation.

  • Ensure completeness of the Audit working paper.

  • Perform ad-hoc audits on areas of concern as and when required.

  • Follow working procedures and ensure SOPs compliance.

Minimum Working Experience:**

  • 3–4 years of experience in Internal and/or External Audit or a related field

Educational Background:**

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field

Professional Qualifications (preferred):**

  • Member of professional bodies such as: ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants); CA (Chartered Accountant); CIA (Certified Internal Auditor); CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner)

Training (desirable):

  • Internal Audit

  • Risk Management Frameworks

  • Data Analytics

In this role, you’ll oversee and guide end-to-end audit processes across multiple functions and AOCs, ensuring all audits are conducted in line with professional standards and organizational policies. You will lead audit planning, execution, and reporting, while supervising audit teams, reviewing internal controls, and supporting cross-functional assignments. This role also involves assisting the Audit Manager in shaping audit strategies and ensuring the timely, accurate delivery of audit outcomes.
