Job Description
- Tackle High-Impact Challenges: Identify, analyze, and resolve critical issues that have a significant impact on the company’s engineering operations or customer satisfaction.
- RCA Investigations: Investigate incidents to identify root causes, implement preventive measures, and ensure long-term solutions are in place to avoid recurrence.
- Lead Strategic Projects: Take ownership of high-priority projects, delivering innovative solutions within tight timelines and ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering squads, QA, and product teams to understand challenges, share insights, and implement solutions effectively.
- Mentor and Support Teams: Share expertise with other engineers, contributing to skill development and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive Innovation: Research and implement cutting-edge tools, technologies, or methodologies that enhance McEasy’s engineering capabilities.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create detailed documentation of solutions, processes, and learnings to ensure knowledge is retained and shared across the organization.
- Monitor and Optimize Performance: Continuously evaluate and optimize the performance, reliability, and scalability of McEasy’s systems and solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software development or engineering roles, with a proven track record of solving complex technical problems.
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and tools used in McEasy’s tech stack (Go, Python, Javascript, Typescript, etc). Experience with system architecture, performance optimization, and debugging is essential.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues under pressure.
- Collaboration Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Innovation Mindset: Passion for exploring new technologies, tools, and approaches to enhance engineering practices.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
