Service Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of the service team at The Forge Gastropub Bali. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences through the delivery of high-quality service, adherence to company standards, and consistent operational excellence. The Service Manager will manage, train, and motivate the service team, maintain customer satisfaction, and provide strategic support to the Outlet Manager in achieving business goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the service department, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Supervise and mentor service staff, fostering teamwork, accountability, and high morale.
- Inspect grooming, attire, and overall service standards of staff, providing corrective action where necessary.
- Monitor dining areas for seating availability, service delivery, guest satisfaction, and safety compliance.
- Engage with guests professionally, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Handle guest complaints and grievances promptly, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and reported to management.
- Collaborate with the Kitchen team to accommodate dietary restrictions and special requests.
- Provide continuous training and development programs to improve staff skills and maintain service consistency.
- Contribute insights to the Outlet Manager regarding operational improvements, efficiency strategies, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, SOPs, safety, and security procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of service operations, including staffing, training hours, and performance reports.
- Build long-term guest relationships to enhance brand loyalty and encourage repeat visits.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within hospitality, preferably in a gastropub, restaurant, or luxury F&B environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- In-depth knowledge of food & beverage service, guest engagement, and seating management.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and maintain professionalism at all times.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to business needs, including working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
