Job Description
- Act as a focal point for the integration and coordination of the relevant project controls disciplines part of the site team
- Ensures Client’s Process Steps, Discipline Guides and Work Instructions are translated into actionable items and complied with at site
- Drives the development of site reporting tools by stewarding the data sharing initiative between Client and Contractors
- Responsible for streamlining weekly, monthly site reporting to senior management
- Responsible for integration of schedule data (durations, man-hours) with scope of work data (physical quantities) to ensure consistency; identify areas of the schedule at risk
- Active participation to Client / Contractor periodic progress review meeting
- Stewards the implementation of independent progress measurement solutions (targeted initiatives)
- Supports Client’s risk management process by interfacing at site with risk owners / mitigation action owners to ensure timely updates and closures are provided, achieved; Stewards joint independent schedule risk analysis events.
- Supports Client’s contract management processes by interfacing at site with Contractors to bring matters to closure
- Holds sessions for site Lessons Learnt collection, validation and sharing
- Coordinates the compilation of the close out reports
- Always Upholds Client’s HSE standards, by actively participating in regular safety walks and delivering safety moments
Qualifications
- Extensive experience (25+ yrs) in project controls in oil & gas, energy, infrastructure sector (offshore wind experience a bonus) – Yard fabrication experience preferred - A mix of Client and EPC experience ideal
- Demonstrated experience with managing teams and leading them to delivery
- Ideally holding a Project Management qualification from an industry recognized body (e.g. PMI, Prince, APM)
