Job Description: Spa & Wellness Manager – Luxury Villas (Selong Selo Resort & Residences)
Job Summary
As the Spa & Wellness Manager at Selong Selo Resort & Residences, you will oversee all spa and wellness operations within our luxury villas, delivering transformative guest experiences that align with the holistic philosophy of “Senja Wellness.” You will ensure the highest standards of service, drive business performance, and lead a professional team while fostering innovation and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Wellness Development
- Design and implement innovative wellness programs such as retreats, holistic spa packages, and personalized health plans.
- Curate guest experiences that are holistic, engaging, and tailored, from consultation to post-treatment follow-up.
Spa & Facility Operations
- Supervise daily spa operations, including treatment rooms and wellness facilities, ensuring safety, hygiene, and comfort.
- Develop and maintain international-standard SOPs for spa and wellness services.
- Manage spa inventory, product usage, and equipment maintenance.
Guest Experience
- Deliver exceptional and personalized spa and wellness services.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
- Create signature spa experiences aligned with the Senja brand identity.
Leadership & Team Management
- Recruit, train, and mentor spa and wellness staff (therapists, wellness guides, yoga instructors, etc.).
- Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and team meetings.
- Foster a collaborative and professional work environment.
Marketing & Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote spa and wellness programs through digital platforms, influencers, and partnerships.
- Build relationships with external practitioners (yoga teachers, holistic healers) to expand service offerings.
Financial & Business Performance
- Develop and manage spa budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, memberships, and retail sales.
- Monitor P&L performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
Compliance & Sustainability
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, and licensing requirements.
- Implement eco-friendly practices and support the resort’s sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in spa/wellness management, preferably in luxury resorts or hotels.
- Strong knowledge of holistic therapies, wellness trends, and luxury spa operations.
- Proven track record in financial management, budgeting, and business development.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is a plus.
- Passionate about wellness, mindfulness, and holistic living.
