As a Subsea Control Designer, you will be responsible to support the development of engineering and design deliverables in alignment with recognized standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. This role focuses on maintaining technical accuracy, contributing to standardization efforts, and ensuring consistent design practices across projects.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience minimum of 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry and 2 years of experience in relevant discipline experience. Has an intermediate understanding of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices.

What You'll Do
We are looking for a Subsea Control Designer to join our team in Indonesia.
The role responsibilities include:
- Support adherence to generally accepted engineering and design practices, relevant regulatory requirements, and client-specific standards.
- Assist in the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Apply local and global design standards to promote technical excellence in pipeline design.
- Participate in technical reviews, including checking and peer reviews of design documents, and support the incorporation of findings and comments.
- Contribute to a shared understanding of technical knowledge, legal constraints, and customer requirements across the team.
- Coordinate effectively with other disciplines and team members to ensure design integrity and completeness.
- Ensure that project documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with established procedures and client requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and technological advancements relevant to pipeline design.
- Experience working in a related industry such as environmental, operations, maintenance, fabrication, or construction. Skilled in estimating project costs and writing proposal content.
- Interface with other disciplines to obtain input for designs and drawings and to develop clash free designs.
- Assist in the identification of technical problems and contribute with possible solutions.
- Conduct self-check on drawing/sketches and undertake checking of others work in a project or department environment within own experience and competence level.
- Possessing a knowledge design of offshore pipeline routing considering the impact of regional and local geohazard (e.g. seabed profile, slope gradients, gullies, pockmarks, sand waves, fault, etc.)
- Possessing a knowledge design of offshore pipeline crossing, pipeline span rectification method and pipeline post/pre-trenching design.
- Possessing a knowledge design of pipeline shore approach including Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) method or open cut method.
- Able to calculate volume of the soil removal and soil/rock backfilling in pipeline trenching.
- Possessing a knowledge design of Pipeline Field Layouts, FPSO Approach Drawings, Alignment Sheets Drawings, Layout for CCS Injection Well Site Approach Drawing, Shore Approach Drawing, Crossing Drawings, Pipeline Buckle Arrestor Drawings, Pipeline Coating Drawings, Pipeline Stabilization Design Drawing
- Shall have a track record of working in multi-national personnel within a major project environment
