About the role
A Supply Chain Manager play a key role to lead and oversee end-to-end supply chain operations for our shipbuilding projects — from strategic planning and material procurement to logistics coordination and usage monitoring. This critical role ensures that material flow supports production schedules, cost efficiency, and timely project delivery.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies aligned with vessel material requirements and project budgets.
- Manage the procurement process, including supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, purchasing, and payment tracking.
- Ensure timely availability and delivery of materials based on the production schedule.
- Oversee logistics operations: transportation, warehousing, inventory, and port handling.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth workflow and material readiness.
- Monitor and control supply chain and logistics budgets; prepare regular performance and cost reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers; conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and apply innovative supply chain solutions.
- Assess supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans to avoid production delays.

Minimum Qualifications: What we're looking for
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role related to purchasing and inventory.
- Proven knowledge and experience in the shipping or maritime industry.
- Bachelor's degree in any field (preferred: Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field).
- Willing to travel for business purposes.
- High level of integrity and professionalism in handling operational and financial responsibilities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and team coordination skills.
- Proficient in ERP/inventory systems and data-driven decision-making.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
- Willing to start as soon as possible (ASAP).
