About the Role
Opella Indonesia is looking for a results-driven Wholesaler Manager to manage day-to-day operations and commercial negotiations with our key customers. This role is pivotal in driving business growth through strategic account management and strong collaboration across functions.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Wholesaler Manager to lead and grow our Wholesaler channel. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, strengthening distributor partnerships, and ensuring seamless operational execution across functions. The ideal candidate brings strong trade experience, excels in building customer relationships, and can deliver insightful market analysis to support strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Development & Growth
Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the Wholesaler channel in alignment with company objectives.
Identify new business opportunities and optimize existing partnerships to increase market penetration.
Distributor & Customer Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key wholesalers and distributor teams.
Monitor distributor performance and provide actionable insights to improve sales and operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams including Supply Chain, Marketing, and Trade Marketing to ensure alignment and timely execution of initiatives.
- Responsible for channel forecast during demand planning to ensure stock availability to support channel needs.
Operational Excellence
Ensure flawless execution of trade programs, promotions.
Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to provide situational analysis and recommendations.
Reporting & Analysis
Provide regular performance reports and insights to management.
Conduct root cause analysis and propose corrective actions for underperforming areas.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade/Channel Sales within FMCG; experience in Consumer Health is a strong advantage.
Proven track record in managing wholesalers and distributor networks.
Strong operational and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and influence stakeholders.
Proactive, results-driven, and highly organized.
Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
Actively speaks and communicates in English
