We're looking for a skilled 3D Illustrator who can bring ideas to life in vibrant, engaging, and performant 3D visuals optimized for web use.
Role Overview:
As our 3D Illustrator, you’ll work closely with designers, developers, and project managers to create original 3D illustrations and visual assets that enhance web interfaces, storytelling sections, and interactive product showcases.
Responsibilities:
- Create stylized or realistic 3D illustrations optimized for web use (GLB, glTF, or WebP/PNG fallback formats).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to seamlessly integrate 3D assets into responsive web designs.
- Work with developers to ensure assets are lightweight and performant for web delivery.
- Iterate on feedback from creative leads and stakeholders.
- Stay current with 3D design trends, tools, and web rendering techniques.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or Maya.
- Strong skills in rendering and lighting techniques suitable for web.
- Experience exporting and optimizing 3D models for WebGL/WebXR (e.g., Three.js, Babylon.js).
- Understanding of web performance best practices and asset compression.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating 3D illustration work, especially for digital/web experiences.
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with tools like Spline, Rive, or Lottie for interactive/animated illustrations.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and how 3D assets are integrated into code.
- Experience working in an Agile or collaborative team environment.
