Our client is looking for a video editor who understands direct response advertising and knows how to craft high-converting video ads. Your work will be used in Facebook, Google, and YouTube ads, so every frame needs to be optimized for hook rates, engagement, and conversions. This role requires rapid iteration, testing, and refinement based on performance data.
Responsibilities:
- Edit high-performance video ads for Facebook, YouTube, and Google Ads.
- Structure videos with strong hooks, storytelling, and clear CTAs to maximize conversions.
- Implement motion graphics, captions, and split-testing elements for ad creatives.
- Optimize video lengths, cuts, and pacing for maximum watch-through rates.
- Collaborate with media buyers to iterate quickly based on ad performance metrics.
- Proven experience editing high-performance video ads for platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and Google Ads.
- Strong understanding of direct-response marketing, ad funnel stages, and what drives conversions.
- Skilled in structuring videos with compelling hooks, engaging storytelling, and clear calls-to-action (CTAs).
- Proficient in using motion graphics, captions, and other visual elements to enhance ad creatives.
- Ability to optimize video length, pacing, and transitions for high engagement and watch-through rates.
- Experience with A/B testing video elements (intros, CTAs, thumbnails, etc.) to improve performance.
- Familiarity with video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
