Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, providing professional advice on proper medication usage, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, dispense, and review prescriptions accurately.
- Provide clear instructions and professional counseling to patients regarding medication use, dosage, side effects, and interactions.
- Monitor and manage medication inventory, including stock control and expiry checks.
- Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards of pharmacy practice.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient information, and transactions.
- Ensure the pharmacy operates in compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Supervise and manage all pharmacy activities, including dispensing, compounding, and patient counseling.
- Oversee inventory management, including procurement, storage, and disposal of pharmaceutical products.
- Provide training and guidance for assistant pharmacists and staff.
- Act as the official representative of the pharmacy in front of regulatory authorities.
- Regularly prepare and submit reports required by the Ministry of Health and other related institutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (Apothecary/Pharmacist).
- Valid pharmacist license (STRA & SIPA).
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, dosage, and drug interactions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Previous experience in a clinical, retail, or hospital pharmacy setting is an advantage.
- Able to speak English is a must.
