Get to Know the Team
The Communications team are storytellers at Grab, shaping our global narrative across diverse audiences, from media and influencers to policymakers and the broader community. The Communications team strategically partners with all business functions to ensure stakeholders understand and champion Grab's vision and goals.
Get to Know the Role
You will drive the B2B communications plans for Grab for Business and GrabAds. You will create and execute high-impact communications campaigns, using data to highlight our partners' success and build momentum in the market. Your role also involves expertly managing issues and crises to maintain our strong reputation.
This role reports to the Manager, Communications and is based in our Jakarta office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Strategic B2B Storytelling: The ability to craft compelling, data-driven narratives that highlight Grab's value and turn partner successes into market momentum.
- Content Development: Expertise in developing and localizing a wide range of content, including press releases, thought leadership articles, and partner success stories. Localize contents to fit with Indonesian market.
- Media & Stakeholder Relations: Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with key journalists, industry leaders, and associations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: The skill to work effectively with internal teams like Marketing, Operations, Product and Legal to ensure communication strategies align with business goals.
- Issue Management: The foresight to anticipate and manage issues that arises, protecting the brand's reputation.
- Crisis Communications: To lead communication responses for high-impact issues, coordinating with teams to deliver timely, consistent messaging across stakeholders.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- 5–7 years in communications or PR with a experience in B2B, tech, or enterprise solutions.
- Skill in handling day-to-day issues and managing crises with speed and composure
- Proven ability to create compelling, data-driven content that highlights business value and generates market interest.
- A track record of building strong relationships with key media, journalists, and senior decision-makers
- Proven ability to work with cross functional teams to achieve business goals
- Excellent written and spoken Indonesian and English.
- Agile individual who possess creative, and willing to experiment with new storytelling formats.
