The Associate II, Warehouse & Distribution Operations (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for supporting daily warehouse and distribution center operations, optimizing storage and material flows, and coordinating logistics. Specifics include:

The Associate II, Warehouse & Distribution Operations (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for supporting daily warehouse and distribution center operations, optimizing storage and material flows, and coordinating logistics. Specifics include:
- Apply specialized knowledge to support daily operations of warehouses and distribution centers
- Optimize storage space and material flows to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist in coordinating and executing inbound and outbound logistics activities, including coordination with warehouses and other relevant parties
- Manage inventory and coordinate shipments while maintaining accurate records
- Follow established procedures with some decision-making authority
- Ensure attention to detail and reliability to impact efficiency and effectiveness of operations
- Consolidate all Finished Goods from Production
- Ensure Finished Goods are stored according to defined procedures
- Arrange shipment of Finished Goods with 3rd party forwarders to the Distribution Center
- Coordinate sterilization of Finished Goods with 3rd parties and subsequent shipment to the Distribution Center
- Monitor and ensure daily compliance with Storage Environment controls
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Degree in Science or Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong command of English (speaking and writing)
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse import/export regulations.
- Well-organized with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with SAP
