Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development professional to support our client's growth in the Chinese-speaking market. This role is ideal for individuals who are fluent in Mandarin and have a strong interest in digital payments, cross-border collaboration, and client relationship management.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within Chinese-speaking markets
- Build and manage relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategy development
- Work closely with internal teams to align product offerings with client needs
- Support the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Deliver effective business presentations in Mandarin and English
- Participate in client meetings or business events, including occasional travel to China (optional)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Linguistics, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in business development, account management, or sales
- Native or fluent Mandarin speaker (spoken and written)
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working across departments and with multicultural teams
- Familiar with business and technical terminology in Mandarin and English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Basic understanding of fintech or payment systems is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
