We’re Hiring: Café Manager – Rambutan (Ubud, Bali)

Rambutan is a small, intimate café in a much-loved, fast-growing part of Nyuh Kuning, Ubud. Our menu draws from Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand — authentic, playful, and full of heart.
We’re more than a café; we’re creating a family-style space where the manager cares for the staff, and the staff cares for the guests. Hospitality here is about warmth, intention, and meaningful connection.
The Role:
We’re seeking a dedicated Café Manager who leads with presence, kindness, and calm authority. You’ll guide a small team, ensure smooth daily operations, and help create an environment where everyone feels valued — from the kitchen to the tables. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in small spaces, values teamwork, and leads with emotional intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily café operations (front and back of house)
- Create staff schedules, train, and support the team
- Deliver warm, professional customer service in line with our ethos
- Manage cash handling, POS, and basic reporting
- Coordinate inventory and supplier orders
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards
- Foster a respectful, family-like team culture
Who You Are:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality management
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, conversational in English
- Calm, grounded, and confident communicator
- Enjoys nurturing a small team and building something meaningful
- Passionate about food and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Familiarity with Southeast Asian cuisine is a plus
