We, Asset Management Consulting Limited (AMCL), a Turner and Townsend company and global leaders in Asset Management (Physical Infrastructure) are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Change Manager to join our Asset Management Consultancy team in Jakarta. This role is crucial to ensuring a successful adoption of the change initiative and minimizing disruption during periods of transformation.
This is a fixed contract for the duration of the project (approximately 18 months starting January 2026).
There is the ability to work from home or office. Regardless of the place of residency, your typical working hours will be in line with Singapore local time which is AMCL’s Hub in the Southeast Asia Region. Travel to the client’s office in Jakarta is part of the role.
The position level and remuneration will be based on your experience.
Job Description
Change Initiative Context
Hand in hand with the local team, you will be supporting our power sector client, who is embarking on a strategic transformation to improve their current practice and to enhance the performance of its asset where it requires the implementation of the asset management system aligning to the ISO 55001 standard. This change will align asset lifecycle practices with best practice, build an asset management culture in the company, and improve overall financial performance.
We are looking to recruit a professional with experience in organisational Change Management who plays a critical role in ensuring that the new management system is implemented, adopted, and embedded into day-to-day operations for long-term success. This role is aimed at professionals with over 10 or more years work experience.
Reporting to the Project Director, the Change Manager will lead and deliver the change component of the asset management transformation by.
· Develop and execute change management strategies and plans
· Communicate change effectively to all stakeholders, both internally and externally.
· Manage resistance to change and facilitate positive adoption.
· Identify and mitigate risks associated with change implementation.
· Collaborate with project teams, leaders, and other key stakeholders.
· Assess and measure the impact of change initiatives.
· Provide guidance and support to employees during times of transition
· Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
· Provide support to in the writing of documents
· Provide translation support (written and verbally) between Bahasa Indonesian and English languages.
Qualifications
· Fluent in both Bahasa Indonesian and English language – written and verbal.
· Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
· 10+ years of experience in change management.
· Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
· Experience with change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong understanding of organizational dynamics and change processes.
· Experience with stakeholder management and influencing.
· Experience in working and delivering remotely and independently.
· Good report writing, presentation and communication skills.
Desirable Skills
· Knowledge and background in asset management
· Knowledge or awareness of ISO 55001
