Youtap is seeking a hands-on, high-performing Country Sales Director to lead direct sales efforts in-market and drive aggressive growth through strategic enterprise engagements. This role is essential to expanding Youtap’s customer base among banks, telecommunications providers, and retail conglomerates, and includes responsibility for leveraging banking and cloud partnerships to amplify reach and deal volume.
You will lead from the front—personally sourcing leads, owning strategic accounts, negotiating with senior decision-makers, and closing high-value platform deals. You will also develop and manage go-to-market plans with key partners in the region to co-create opportunities and jointly deliver customer value.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Execution
- Directly manage the end-to-end enterprise sales cycle—from market mapping and lead generation to contract closure and onboarding.
- Deliver new customer acquisition through focused targeting of enterprise accounts in banking, payments, telecom, and retail sectors.
- Customize and present compelling product demonstrations, proposals, and ROI models that address client business challenges.
- Lead high-impact negotiations and close multi-million-dollar platform-as-a-service deals.
Partner Engagement
- Collaborate with in-country banking and cloud partners (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, and financial institutions) to:
- Co-develop sales strategies and account targeting plans.
- Jointly build pipeline and execute coordinated sales motions.
- Drive partner-influenced revenue growth and co-marketing initiatives.
- Represent Youtap in partner ecosystems and joint go-to-market events.
Market Strategy & Customer Engagement
- Develop a comprehensive territory plan and maintain an active pipeline aligned with quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with C-level executives across client organizations.
- Provide strategic insights on local market dynamics, competitor activity, and enterprise customer needs.
Team Leadership
- Optionally build and lead a local sales team (depending on market maturity), including business development and pre-sales support.
- Drive a culture of performance, accountability, and customer focus within the team.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate CRM data and provide timely reporting on pipeline, forecasts, deal health, and market trends.
Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience with at least 5 years in a senior or director-level role.
- Demonstrated success in selling digital platforms (banking, payments, loyalty, embedded finance) to large enterprise customers.
- Strong experience in partner-led sales involving banks, cloud service providers, and system integrators.
- Exceptional deal-closing skills with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar annual quotas.
- Extensive network of enterprise decision-makers across banking, telco, and retail verticals.
- Proficiency in solution and consultative selling methodologies.
- Experience in cloud-based infrastructure, APIs, and platform offerings is a strong plus.
- Highly motivated, independent, and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
