About the role
The primary role of the Sr. Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation Engineer is to manage operation and reliability of all Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation aspects of the factory with the primary objective to ensure all equipment meets expected levels of output and performance. The Sr. Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation Engineer must actively be involved in the continuous improvement activity and contribute to total plant KPI and lead the Engineering project.

Key responsibilities
- Implement all procedures related Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Food Safety Quality (FSQ) policy & procedures in all operational activities, hence all operational process can run safely and according to food safety rules
- Ensure reliability of all plant equipment especially in area of EIA by plan, inspect & execute maintenance activity with ensure safety and quality requirement followed
- As a champion of site energy reduction lead by identifying opportunities for improvement and execute it.
- Ensure that all plant EIA equipment is regularly inspected and meets the most current safety standards and legislative requirements
- Control resource expenditure for labour, direct expense, and consumables within the approved budget for the department and provide early indications of any potential variances in order to assist the overall units forecasting
- Manage site contractors to ensure safe working practices are applied and work is carried out within agrees terms of reference and time scales
- Continually improve equipment EIA performance in terms of reliability, downtime and machine-induced quality problems thereby supporting the overall business drive for continuous improvement in operational efficiency
- Manage the development and implementation of an EIA preventive maintenance program to maximise machine utilisation and minimise breakdown costs
- Ensures that Maintenance Executives and Technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner
- Lead Green Team and organize activity that leads to environmentally friendly
Qualifications and skills
- The Sr. Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation should be in possession of an Electrical / Automation Engineering degree/diploma from a recognized institution.
- More than 5 years’ experience in Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation.
- Experience in food industries will be an advantage
- Experience in Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation
- Experience in executing a project.
- Experience leading or participating in Continuous Improvement Projects,
- Experience in SAP system will be an added advantage
