Job Summary:
As an Event Sales Manager, you'll be a key driver of our growth, responsible for generating revenue by securing new event clients and nurturing existing relationships. You will be the face of our event organizing company, representing our brand and our commitment to creating unforgettable experiences for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Sales: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, cold outreach, and attending industry events. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that showcase our services and capabilities.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and helping them achieve their event goals. Act as the primary point of contact from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
- Negotiation & Closing: Expertly negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals, ensuring mutual satisfaction and profitability.
- Market & Industry Insight: Stay informed about current industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the event planning and marketing teams to ensure a seamless client experience and the successful execution of all events. Provide client feedback to help refine our offerings.
- Goal-Oriented: Meet and exceed ambitious sales targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record in sales, with at least 3 years of experience in the events, hospitality, or a related industry.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate our value proposition clearly and persuasively.
- Interpersonal Skills: A natural relationship builder with a friendly and professional demeanor. You should be confident and comfortable engaging with a wide range of people, from corporate clients to individuals planning private parties.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and handle objections effectively.
- Organization: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules and client needs.
