Job Description
- Design ever-improving credit loss provisioning methodology (including but not limited to expected loss) that meets the IFRS 9, PSAK 71, and other applicable requirements.
- Analyze internal data, macroeconomics variables, perform calculations, and take decisions on the amount that needs to be provisioned each month based on forward-looking default probability.
- Perform & verify quality control in terms of data quality, reconciliation and analyzing of report results.
- Support the business and risk reporting needs with respect to Credit Quality including, impaired loan levels, provision for credit losses, write-offs etc.
- Write analysis and review the preparation of the Group Risk Management Quarterly & Annually Credit Provisioning Report.
- Support Enterprise Risk, Compliance, and Accounting & Finance in analyzing and reporting loan losses, impaired loans, allowances, write-offs, and recoveries. Investigate, analyze and respond to ad-hoc portfolio information requests.
- Responsible for the ongoing interpretation of policies and guidelines issued by the accounting and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Min. 5 years experience, with a minimum 2 years in directly managing credit provisioning projects and BAU activities
- Experience in bank/credit/loan/BNPL companies, and familiarity with the latest PSAK/IFRS standard is a must
- Experience in Big 4 accounting firms is a plus
- Experience working in a multi functional environment (e.g. product, growth, data, risk, ops), including external stakeholders (e.g. auditor, regulator)
- Fluency in English is required
- At least Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Accounting or Finance
