We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to work closely with our backend Laravel developer on building a responsive, SEO-friendly, and user-centric e-commerce website. You will be responsible for the frontend coding, and SEO optimization while collaborating with the backend developer who will handle business logic and APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert designs (Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD) into responsive web pages.
- Implement user-facing features including:
- Homepage, product listing, product detail pages.
- Subpages
- Point rewarding/redeeming display and purchase history view.
- Form styling
- Collaborate with the backend developer to integrate to the Laravel backend system.
- Ensure the website is fully responsive across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
- Optimize for SEO: meta tags, structured data, clean HTML, fast page loads.
- Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG best practices).
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable frontend code.
- Debug and fix cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Work with backend team to ensure seamless data flow between frontend and backend.
Requirements
- Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
- Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, React.js, or Next.js is a plus.
- Solid understanding of responsive design and modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap).
- Familiarity with SEO best practices (tags, schema markup, page speed).
- Experience working with REST APIs and JSON data.
- Good understanding of version control (Git).
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and testing tools.
- Ability to collaborate in an agile, remote team environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SSR (Server-Side Rendering) or Static Site Generation for SEO (Nuxt.js, Next.js).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in e-commerce frontend design patterns.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, GTM, and SEO tools.
