Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient General Cashier to join our team in Jakarta, Indonesia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash handling, and maintaining proper documentation for our organization.
- Manage daily cash transactions, including receiving payments, issuing receipts, and processing refunds
- Prepare and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and report any discrepancies to management
- Assist in the preparation of daily bank deposits and cash control reports
- Operate point-of-sale systems and other financial software with precision
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Adhere to all relevant financial regulations and company policies
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required
- Perform regular cash counts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar cashier role
- Excellent command of English and fluency in Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with financial software and point-of-sale systems
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to handle cash accurately
- Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial transactions
- Thorough knowledge of cash handling procedures and financial regulations
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required
- Integrity and trustworthiness in handling financial transactions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
Additional Information
