Role Overview
We’re looking for an organised, detail-oriented Graphics Team Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our design department at Slush Digital. This role is perfect for someone with strong coordination and communication skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to manage timelines, people, and expectations — without needing to be a hands-on designer.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that creative projects run smoothly, deadlines are met, quality is upheld, and client expectations are clearly understood and delivered.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Coordination & Workflow Management
- Oversee the design team’s task assignments and project progress
- Maintain weekly and monthly design trackers, with reports submitted on time (weekly by Friday, monthly by the 3rd)
- Monitor team timelines and resource allocation to ensure smooth project delivery
- Conduct reviews of design output for accuracy, alignment to brief, and quality control
Client Communication & Project Briefing
- Act as the main liaison between clients and the design team
- Ensure client briefs are clear, complete, and communicated effectively to designers
- Manage timelines and expectations with both internal and external stakeholders
- Gather and share feedback from clients to inform project revisions or improvements
Performance & Reporting
- Monitor design team performance and submit monthly reviews to leadership by the 3rd of each month
- Provide time reports detailing hours spent per client and project
- Flag any issues or blockers that may affect timelines or output quality
Creative Project Types You’ll Oversee
While you won’t be expected to design yourself, you’ll be coordinating and reviewing projects like:
- Logo & Branding Packages
- Social Media Content & Digital Graphics
- Flyers, Signage & Merchandise
- Website Design Projects
- Product Packaging
- Video & Animation Projects
Preferred Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in a design agency, creative studio, or production house
- Strong coordination and communication skills, with a keen eye for visual details
- Comfortable managing timelines, projects, and performance metrics
- Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (not mandatory to use, but must understand basics)
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and maintain quality standards
- Experience in client communication and handling creative briefs
