About the Role
Cloudetica Solutions is seeking a skilled Human Resource Specialist to join our team on a part‑time, casual basis. You will manage end‑to‑end HR activities; everything from recruitment screening through to employee engagement, ensuring our people processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with company goals. This role offers flexible hours (up to 20 hrs/week) and the ability to work remotely, with occasional on‑site meetings as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Screening
- Review and screen applications to identify qualified candidates
- Coordinate and conduct initial phone/video interviews
- Perform background checks and reference verifications
Employee Relations & Dispute Resolution
- Act as primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
- Investigate and mediate workplace disputes to maintain a positive environment
- Capture and address employee feedback proactively
Policy Development & Compliance
- Draft, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, data privacy, and workplace safety regulations
- Monitor legislative changes and recommend policy adjustments
Training, Development & Performance Management
- Design and coordinate training programs, workshops, and professional development initiatives
- Implement performance management processes, including goal‑setting and reviews
- Partner with managers to create career development plans
Onboarding & Records Management
- Manage full onboarding process: orientation, paperwork, and system access
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, both digital and physical
Compensation & Benefits Administration
- Administer compensation programs and coordinate payroll inputs
- Handle benefits enrollment and respond to employee inquiries
- Analyze market data to recommend competitive salary and benefits structures
Contract Management
- Prepare and distribute offer letters, employment contracts, and amendments
- Track contract sign‑offs and maintain records in the HR system
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Develop and run engagement initiatives (surveys, events, recognition programs)
- Monitor engagement metrics and recommend improvements to boost morale and retention
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of HR experience covering recruitment, employee relations, and compliance
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and MS Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with sensitivity to confidential matters
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
Preferred
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR)
- Experience in a flexible, remote‑friendly environment
- Familiarity with performance management and learning management systems
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
