Enviu is streamlining its impact measurement approach and implementation
Enviu serves people and planet, Enviu disrupts economies and Enviu builds impact-driven ventures. Enviu takes an issue-driven approach with the goal of fixing failing systems to a sustainable and socially inclusive ‘new normal’.
We want to take the next step in measuring, monitoring, predicting and managing our impact. This considers the environmental, social and economic impact of our programs and ventures. We moreover want to communicate about the reach and engagement of our ventures and programs.
In 2024, we have developed a holistic Enviu impact strategy, so we can communicate about our groupwide impact. In streamlining and professionalizing our Impact Measurement and Management we are looking for an expert to help collect internal data updates and to strengthen our position on making and measuring systemic impact. About the job
You will have the opportunity to drive our Core Impact Measurement and Management team:
Lead and coordinate Enviu-wide impact data collection cycles, conducted twice per year, by gathering required data from program managers, venture builders, and portfolio ventures;
Ensure data tools and systems are user-friendly and well-maintained, and provide basic support or training to teams involved in data input or use;
Ensure data quality and completeness by identifying and flagging any gaps or inconsistencies during the data collection process;
Refine and improve data collection processes based on insights and learnings from each cycle, ensuring better coverage and efficiency in future rounds;
Support on the further development of systemic impact change measures; Contribute to the ongoing development of impact indicators to capture system change, helping to refine approach and methodologies;
Continuously improve data collection procedures and tools to enhance consistency, usability, and alignment across teams and regions;
Analyze impact data to extract insights and trends and narratives;
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align on data needs, share findings, and support in preparing clear and concise reports and visualizations that communicate the impact results to internal and external stakeholders;
Support in preparing a communication strategy for the annual impact report that we aim to publish around the start of the second quarter of each year.
You will be part of the Global Enviu team and based in Jakarta - Indonesia.
In particular you will:
Play a key role in our Global Core Impact Measurement and Management team that is based both in Rotterdam and Indonesia;
Engage with our program managers and venture builders based in all Enviu office: Rotterdam, Jakarta, Nairobi and Bangalore;
Engage with our Global marketing team based in Rotterdam.
About you
We are looking for a professional who:
Has a technical or social science background (experience in impact measurement is mandatory);
1-5 years of working experience;
Has a strong affinity with circular economy, system change, energy transition and social entrepreneurship;
Experience with managing data collection and management systems;
Develop and refine data collection processes data analysis skills;
Has a critical and independent mindset;
Is creative and able to develop basic communication strategies;
Has excellent communication skills;
Enjoys working in a team;
Has a good sense of humour.
