One of our clients, a design-driven lifestyle brand that creates timeless furniture and interiors offers limited-edition collections made from sustainably sourced materials, is looking for an Interior Designer to join their team.
The ideal candidate is a creative and detail-driven professional with a strong sense of aesthetics and functionality. They are passionate about sustainable and ethical design practices, and bring experience in residential or hospitality projects. Skilled in concept development, space planning, and client communication, they collaborate well with cross-functional teams and can translate a brand’s values into thoughtful, stylish interiors. Proficiency in design software and a strong portfolio showcasing contemporary, ethically inspired work are essential.
Requirements :
- Open for local candidates.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum two years of hands-on experience in interior design, ideally within residential or hospitality projects.
- Design Tools Proficiency: AutoCAD, SketchUp or Rhino, KeyShot or Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Familiarity with Notion and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
- Basic knowledge of Figma or Canva is a plus, especially for layout and internal visual communication.
- Strong sense of spatial composition, proportion, materials, and textures.
- Ability to translate creative concepts from sketches to fully developed technical drawings.
- Solid understanding of furniture detailing, sourcing, and material specification.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently or in a small, dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities :
- Participate in the ideation and development of interior design concepts, transforming initial project narratives into compelling spatial experiences.
- Translate conceptual direction into functional spatial layouts, moodboards, and material palettes that reflect the studio’s design vision.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and décor that align with project objectives and the studio’s aesthetic philosophy—prioritising sustainable, locally crafted, or custom-made elements.
- Produce detailed technical drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details, for use during construction and fabrication.
- Coordinate with craftsmen, contractors, builders, and suppliers to ensure precise execution of design intent, maintaining design integrity throughout all phases.
- Conduct regular site visits during implementation to monitor progress, ensure adherence to design specifications, and resolve on-site challenges.
- Manage multiple ongoing projects, ensuring timely delivery of design packages, updates, and revisions according to project milestones.
- Work closely with the Creative Director and fellow team members to refine visual storytelling and maintain a cohesive spatial identity across all projects.
- Contribute original ideas and creative input with openness, curiosity, and a thoughtful, detail-oriented design eye.
