This role will be reporting to the IT Director with a strong dotted line to the CFO and will have the executive sponsorship and a dedicated engineering team to succeed. The initial and most critical mission will be to overhaul our entire collections process, working closely with our 39 branches to drive down Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and improve cash flow.
- Order-to-Cash (O2C) & Collections Overhaul (Primary Focus): Lead the product vision for our collections, credit management, and cash application processes. Work directly with Branch Operations Controllers to design and implement solutions that automate collections workflows, streamline payment reconciliation, and provide real-time visibility into receivables.
- Financial Process Automation: Champion the end-to-end digitalization of finance. Drastically reduce manual work by identifying, analyzing, and designing automated solutions for our highest-volume, most error-prone processes.
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Enhancement: Own the product roadmap for our accounts payable and payment cycles. Drive initiatives to automate invoice processing, improve payment controls, and provide better visibility into cash flow.
- Cost Management & Visibility: Address the critical need for better cost visibility. Develop and enhance our cost accounting systems to provide granular insight into activity-based costs across our distribution network.
- Data Integrity & Compliance: Serve as the guardian of financial data accuracy. Design and implement automated validation rules and controls to ensure financial data is reliable, audit-proof, and compliant with financial standards (PSAK, SOX-equivalent controls).
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the key liaison between technology and the business. Your primary stakeholders will be the Accounting & Tax Manager and Branch Operations Controllers. Translate their business needs into a clear, actionable product backlog for your dedicated engineering team.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, or logistics company.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or related certifications are a strong plus.
- Min. 5-8 years experience of product management experience, with a clear progression in responsibility.
- Have deep understanding of core finance and accounting principles is required, with a particular strength in the Accounts Receivable and Collections cycle.
- Proven experience working with financial modules of large-scale ERP systems is essential.
- Have a strong track record of analyzing complex financial workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and successfully implementing automated solutions.
- Have a sharp analytical mind with a passion for data integrity.
- Have excellent ability to communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels, from branch controllers to the C-suite.
