IT QA Automation Mocha & Chai

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript with Mocha as the test runner and Chai as the assertion library.

• Implement unit tests, integration tests, API tests, and potentially end-to-end tests for web applications, APIs, or other JavaScript-based systems.

• Write clean, maintainable, and robust test code.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and define comprehensive test cases.

• Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test data.

• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.

• Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).

• Work closely with development teams to ensure defects are understood, prioritized, and resolved.

• Verify bug fixes and regressions.

• Contribute to the improvement and maintenance of the existing test automation framework.

• Implement new features or utilities within the framework to enhance testing capabilities.

• Ensure test stability and reliability.

Minimum Qualifications: Location : Placement in one of our clients in South Jakarta

Working System : Full WFO

Employment Contract : PKWT/Contract (4 months)

Job Requirements :

• Has minimum 1 year of proven work experience as QA Automation or similar roles

• Has experience with automation testing using Mocha, Chai, Jest

• Have Experience in Agile development methodology & SQL

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

• Hands-on experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.

• Solid understanding of defect lifecycle and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).

• Basic understanding of SQL and ability to perform data validations via queries.

• Experience testing across different platforms (web, mobile, desktop) and browsers.
