Key Responsibilities:
The System Analyst plays a strategic and operational role in ensuring WVI’s applications and systems deliver the required service levels to support field programs and business functions. This role bridges business needs and technical delivery by analyzing requirements, coordinating with developers and vendors, and taking operational responsibility for application support.
The System Analyst is also directly involved in break-fix resolution, low- to medium-complexity application development, and ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of systems. The System Analyst collaborates closely with IT Business Partners, Business Analysts, and Database Engineers to deliver integrated technology support throughout the organization.
Strategy Development & Planning
- Participates in the project planning process with team members.
- Able to adjust to constant business change and, as needed, plan for changes that are likely to occur proactively
Resource Acquisition & Management
- Participate in component and data architecture design, technology planning, product evaluation, advanced testing processes, and buy vs. build recommendations. Individuals also provide input to project plans related to the Application Development initiative.
Accountability & Quality Assurance
- Responsible for coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining applications based on defined business requirements.
- Involved in the whole systems life cycle and therefore are responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget.
- Creates data extracts and reports from system-based requirements.
- Develops, executes, and documents test plans.
- Assists in the deployment of new modules, upgrades, and fixes to the production environment.
- Makes modules production-ready by moving them to libraries, completing forms, following procedures, and completing version control documents.
- Provides ongoing maintenance of applications.
- Assists in providing Level 2 (medium complexity support) production support.
- Troubleshoots existing information systems to identify errors or deficiencies and develops solutions.
- Documents functions and changes to new or modified modules and test activities/results.
Capacity Building
- Provide client support, consultation, and subject matter expertise for system development, maintenance, and support.
Networking & Coordination
- Participates in the vendor selection process for clients following IT standards and specifications as required.
- Work closely with clients, business analysts, and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
Management & Leadership
- Build and maintain a positive team spirit with staff in respective units and departments.
- Implement all activities aligned with WV Indonesia’s Child Protection Policy and Standards, including regularly participating in CP awareness and training, and responding promptly and appropriately to child protection incidents.
- Submit monthly report on time.
The Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Degrees in Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Data Science are also relevant.
- 3+ years in System Analysis, Business Analysis, or similar roles.
- Exposure to both cloud (e.g., AWS) and on-prem environments is a strong plus
- Certifications that enhance credibility and skills:
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Critical and analytical thinking with a collaborative mindset.
- A detailed knowledge of programming language, i.e Java, PHP, Android, Apple, Apps, Sharepoint, etc.
- Ability to use and manage GIT to store the source code
- Ability to work with SCRUM project style
- Strong understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC), use case modeling, and process flows.
- Proficient in tools like Jira, Visio, ERD tools, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with API integration, database concepts, and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, as necessary.
- Professional Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
