Monitoring and controlling the day-to-day activities of the mechanical inspectors site work inspection inspection of the materials delivered in Contractor’s store.
ii. Comply with regulatory requirements relative to the HVAC, Plumbing, Piping, and other mechanical local code and requirements.
iii. Monitoring the mechanical works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual
iv. Serving as site representative in absence of Deputy Project Manager Utility, for all matters related to construction quality assurance of mechanical works
v. Reviewing all the mechanical shop drawings, method statements & ITPs and discussing with the team with relevant supporting documents to process for approval or disapproval.
vi. Coordinating and supervising the installation work of mechanical items
vii. Review sub-contractor documents and administer with fairness.
viii. Provide technical direction and/or project management of installation, commissioning of steam turbine generator products.
ix. Must have the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of customer, including suppliers, management, other Quality Engineers, Product Engineers and Design Agency Engineers on process and technical issues impacting supplier performance
