We're currently expanding our network of freelance photo editors, and are looking for professionals who can consistently deliver corrections and enhancements to our digital photos. If you have a proven ability to elevate images and meet specific visual briefs, this opportunity is for you.
Below is the summary of expected scope of work:
We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Photo Editor to join our team, specializing in enhancing and perfecting images of models. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our visual content is polished, captivating, and aligns with our brand aesthetic.
What You'll Do:
- Edit and enhance digital photos of models to meet brand specifications and creative direction.
- Perform advanced retouching, blemish removal, skin tone correction, and body shaping while maintaining a natural and authentic look.
- Execute precise color correction, exposure adjustment, and cropping to optimize model images.
- Seamlessly remove unwanted objects or distractions from backgrounds and surroundings to highlight the model.
- Collaborate on composite images or creative manipulations as needed to achieve desired visual effects with models.
- Optimize images for various platforms, including web, social media, and print, ensuring high quality and efficient loading times.
- Adhere strictly to brand guidelines for model appearance, lighting, and overall image style to maintain consistency across all visuals.
- Communicate effectively with art directors and photographers to understand creative briefs and provide timely updates on editing progress.
- Deliver high-quality, retouched images on time to meet project deadlines.
Who You Are:
- Proven experience as a Photo Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing model retouching work, specifically for e-commerce or product-focused content.
- Proficiency in professional photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop (advanced retouching techniques are a must) and Capture One or Lightroom.
- Excellent understanding of color theory, lighting, and composition.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for consistency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with various image file formats and their optimal use for different platforms.
