Therefore, we are looking for a Naval Regional Sales Manager to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.
Your role in our team
As our new Naval Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for spearheading contacts to key accounts and driving Terma's sales activities in primarily Indonesia – with the aim to promote, position, and sell Terma's products and solutions within the domain of naval solutions: naval Radar Systems for air and surface surveillance, Self-protection of naval platforms and Combat management systems, as well as logistics and services for the products.
You will be part of a team of highly professional colleagues and will be interacting with colleagues from other regions/countries as well as product specialists and sales support staff in Denmark.
How you will make a meaningful contribution
Your key responsibilities include:
- Marketing & Sales of Terma’s naval radar products and solutions to global system integrators shipyards & distributors as well as to end-users across Indonesia and Asia Pacific region
- Marketing & Sales of Terma’s naval self-protection products and solutions to global system integrators, shipyards & distributors as well as to end-users across Indonesia and Asia Pacific region
- Marketing & Sales of Terma’s naval combat management systems and solutions to global system integrators, shipyards & distributors as well as to end-users across Indonesia and Asia Pacific region
- Managing the Sales process, including strategic capture planning, lead generation and pipeline management, customer presentations, responses to customer requests, contract negotiations, and closing of contracts.
- Contributing to market go-to strategies and business strategies.
- Identifying and managing local partners in select Asia Pacific markets.
- Participating in and contributing to regional exhibitions and customer events.
- Frequent travelling in the Indonesia and Asia Pacific region and occasionally to our headquarters in Denmark is a requirement.

You are fluent in Bahasa and English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:
- Education/degree: Technical, military and/or commercial, academic degree
- Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
- Proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships over a long duration of time
- Proven ability to create results alone or as part of a team effort
- Independently working – leadership skills an advantage
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to navigate in a complex organization
- Business acumen
You are a highly organized and goal-driven professional with a strong instinct for sales, combined with the ability to manage detailed bid preparation and collaborate effectively with global teams. Possesses an international outlook and demonstrates analytical thinking, reliability, patience, and a strong commitment to quality and ethical standards. Brings energy and a positive attitude, with the capacity to stay on top of complex tasks and juggle multiple priorities with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach. A collaborative team player and proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
