Responsibilities:
- Research and source suppliers for various goods and services, including food and beverages, equipment, maintenance supplies, furniture, and branded items
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards
- Procure items in a timely manner to avoid shortages and ensure seamless operations
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels for both consumable and non-consumable items
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring reliable and consistent supply chains
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies in deliveries, product quality, or invoicing
- Conduct regular evaluations and audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with club standards and agreements
- Assist in the development and management of the procurement budget
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving without compromising on quality
- Source eco-friendly products where possible, aligning with sustainability goals of the beach club
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the hospitality or leisure industry
- Experience in negotiating with suppliers and managing inventory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with vendors, staff, and management
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good understanding of budgeting and cost management
- Knowledge of procurement software and tools is a plus
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands
