About the role
As a Product Designer at Liven, you’ll create user experiences that are seamless, beautiful, and grounded in real user needs. From discovery to delivery, you’ll collaborate across disciplines to bring new features to life and continuously improve our existing products. This role is ideal for a creative thinker who is hands-on, user-focused, and passionate about quality.
What you'll do
- User Research: Conduct or collaborate on user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to uncover pain points and validate opportunities.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Translate ideas into wireframes and interactive prototypes—ranging from low to high fidelity.
- Visual Design: Craft clean, accessible, and on-brand UI designs that align with our design system and product goals.
- Design Systems: Help maintain and evolve our design system, contributing reusable components and patterns for consistency at scale.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-impact solutions.
- User Testing & Feedback: Validate design decisions with real users and iterate based on feedback and insights.
- Design Handoff: Deliver clear design specifications and collaborate with engineering to ensure accurate implementation.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience designing digital products (web and/or mobile), ideally within product-focused teams.
- A strong portfolio that showcases your end-to-end design process, from research and wireframes to final UI and prototypes.
- Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent) for design and prototyping.
- Solid understanding of usability principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
- Experience working within agile, cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills—you can clearly articulate design rationale and collaborate with stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a passion for creating polished, user-friendly experiences
Good to Have
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar, Mixpanel) for measuring design impact.
- Experience working on SaaS, fintech, or hospitality-related products.
- Exposure to motion design or design for complex workflows.
