Job Description
As the Product Manager for our Inventory Module, you will take ownership of the end-to-end product lifecycle of our financial accounting features. You will work closely with engineering, design, data, and customer-facing teams to build a seamless, accurate, and efficient accounting experience for our users. Your mission is to ensure businesses using our platform have a world-class tool to manage their financials, drive decision-making, and comply with regulations.
- Product Vision & Strategy: Define and execute a compelling product vision and roadmap for the Inventory Module, aligned with business goals and user needs
- User-Centric Development: Understand the needs of SMBs and enterprise customers to create features that simplify complex inventory processes
- Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Partner with engineering, design, analytics, and operations teams to drive the development of new features, enhancements, and integrations
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data, customer feedback, and competitive analysis to iterate and improve product offerings
- Launch & Monitor: Lead the go-to-market strategy for new features, ensuring clear communication with customers and internal teams. Measure product success post-launch and continuously optimize the experience
- Problem Solving & Innovation: Identify opportunities to innovate within accounting workflows and push the boundaries of what can be automated or simplified
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of product management experience, ideally in inventory, payment, finance, or SaaS platforms that deal with financial data and strong analytics skill.
- Customer-focused mindset: A deep understanding of how businesses use accounting tools and a passion for delivering solutions that meet customer needs
- Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in using data and analytics to inform product decisions. Experience working with accounting metrics, key performance indicators, and financial data is a plus
- Technical Acumen: Ability to work closely with engineers to make informed decisions about implementation trade-offs, particularly related to accounting systems and integrations
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on execution and results
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, articulating complex concepts to various stakeholders
- Problem Solver: A proactive problem solver who can work with ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
